January 2024 –
From working student to development engineer
Maximilian started at Mössner last year in March as a working student in the IT department. And exactly one year later, he will be joining us as a development engineer. Maximilian is studying industrial engineering and management, specialising in production and development at Aalen University.
He was already familiar with Mössner before joining the company as a working student, both through personal contact with employees and because of his proximity to the company. Due to his major field of study, his technical interest and private technical projects, he was particularly fascinated by the field of special machine construction.
His journey with us began in our IT department. Having completed his training and worked as a mechatronics engineer before studying, he wanted to gain additional experience in the IT sector as part of his student traineeship. His tasks there consisted of IT support in day-to-day business, various administrative activities relating to Microsoft 365, account management as well as IT orders and computer system installations
In autumn, Max decided to write his bachelor’s thesis in the research and development department. The focus of his bachelor’s thesis is on robotics. He is currently researching the program-based energetic optimisation of motion paths on 6-axis industrial robots, while continuing to work for us as a student trainee in the IT department.
After completing his bachelor’s thesis, Maximilian will become a permanent member of our team in the research and development department. He will support us as a development engineer specialising in simulation technology, which we are very pleased about.
