Senate of Economy
In February 2015, Franz Sachsenmaier, Managing Director of August Mössner GmbH & Co. KG, was appointed to the Senate of Economy. The foundation Senate of Economy unites personalities from economy, politics, media and culture. Together they advise and support the decision makers in politics and economy. The objective of the Senate of Economics is to promote an ecological and social market economy. In particular, the focus is on corporate responsibility, value-based management and support of public interest policies. As a member of the Senate, one acts as an ambassador of the Senate of Economics. The August Mössner GmbH & Co. KG with Senator Franz Sachsenmaier contributes to the implementation of the senate’s goals in dialogue with decision-makers through personal membership.

Economic Senate of the Federal Association of Medium-Sized Businesses – BVMW
As of August 1st, 2019, Managing Director Franz Sachsenmaier is appointed to the Economic Senate of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW), initially for a period of two years. The BVMW is considered the largest business association in Germany and represents the interests of more than three million small and medium-sized companies. The aim of the BVMW is to strengthen the competitiveness of the companies and thus ensure the future viability of German SMEs. The members of the BVMW represent the entire spectrum of the branches of German small and medium sized businesses. The BVMW is represented nationwide. Together with the association, the members of the BVMW work out political basis for decisions and communicate facts, positions and demands of the economy on politics, society, administration as well as media and the public.
